UPSEE Exam: All you need to know

Just like All India Level Entrance Exams, such as JEE Main and AIPMT, every Indian states conducts their own entrance examination as well. State level exams are almost common to every Indian student and as the name suggests these are the exams where only the colleges of the states can participate.

Uttar Pradesh is no exception, and it too has their exams for the state students. For the engineering colleges, Uttar Pradesh conducts Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE Exam).

Eligibility Criteria
 
Well, to give an online exam it is essential to know the exam details, and candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria. It is mandatory. So here, we are going to discuss the eligibility criteria of the exam in the beginning –

· People who have passed 10+2 for a recognized institute
· Have secured to score 45% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
· For SC/ ST candidate, they must score 40% in class XII exam
Well, if you fulfill the following criteria then you become eligible to fill up the form of UPSEE, as per convenience. To fill the application form online, the students have to visit the official website http://upsee.nic.in and then they have to walk the extra mile and follow a few easy steps to get the job done –
· Open the appropriate link http://upsee.nic.in and fill up the registration form online
· Fill the form after reading the instructions carefully
· Verify the online document and then submit
· Make payment of your application fee
· Download filled application form
· Stick a recent passport size photograph and put the signature on the space given and sent it to the address mentioned below.

You must review the address a few time to make sure the address is perfect as it is important to receive the admit card and is a mandatory requirement for the written entrance exam. Therefore, if you are an aspirant make sure the updated information is authentic.

Is any offline form available? – Yes, you can find an offline application form from the local post offices

Application Fees: The candidates appearing for UPSEE Exam have to remit Rs. 1000 as application fee, but for SC/ ST candidates it is Rs. 500. You can pay the fees by Bank Challan or NEFT Transfers.
Candidates must submit the form in the prescribed format before the scheduled time. Only after that the admit card is dispatched to the respective address. Admit card is your identity proof when you appear for the exam and further ensures that the entrant is the same person.

UPSEE 2015 – is going to held on 20 April 2015, Sunday

Exam Hours – 7:30AM to 10:30 AM, 3 hours

The candidates have to solve 150 Multiple Choice Questions from class XII Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 4 marks since there is no negative marking you can try your luck hard.

General Rules
 
· The questions you will be provided have to answer on a specially designed OMR sheet against the respective question number. Candidates are advised to choose one option for every answer.
· More than one answer if indicated on a particular question then examiner will consider it as an incorrect answer and no marked will be awarded against that question.
· Though there is no negative marking, the record of the incorrect answer will be kept.
· Student needs to mark the answers on OMR sheet with Black / Blue ballpoint pen only.
· For the purpose evaluation, the details a student provided by a student in the OMR sheet will be treated as final.
